Ariane is a scientist, businesswoman and entrepreneur with more than 25 years of experience in biotechnology in agriculture.
After years of successful work in the largest multinationals in the industry, Ariane altered her career path and established her first company in the USA, followed by a second venture in Brazil.
Ariane has established and currently leads successful teams in the field of regulatory science in both Brazil and the USA. Currently, she is a consultant with extensive multinational experience helping companies working with biotechnology to launch their agricultural products.
With thirty years of experience in agricultural biotechnology, Barry has dedicated twenty-two years to Regulatory Sciences and eighteen years to Biotechnology Research and Development. As a global strategy leader, I have been part of every regulatory strategy team that successfully introduced product lines such as Herculex®, WideStrike®, PowerCore®, SmartStax®, and Enlist®. Additionally, I have been a pivotal member of the Regulatory Sciences Leadership team at Dow AgroSciences (DAS), contributing to the development of budgets, growth strategies, capabilities, competencies, and long-term planning for more than ten years.
Throughout his career, Barry has collaborated with multiple external Contract Research Organizations (CROs) to bolster the delivery of regulatory data for the worldwide submission and deregulation of biotechnology products. These partnerships continue to be nurtured to this day.
Previously, Barry served as a representative for DAS on various ILSI and CLI task forces over many years. At present, he is representing SSS on AEIC task force, working to harmonize regulatory data for the submission to global agencies regarding intractable proteins.
